In midsize cities like Worcester, condos are key to providing a more accessible route to homeownership for young professionals and working or low-income families.
In 2019, the Chamber conducted an in-depth study of Worcester’s housing market which garnered much attention and was even cited by a few developers in their decisions to invest in new projects here. This condo report expands on that study—looking specifically at condos. Condominium construction will be an important tool to meet the city’s growing housing demand and pave a better path to home ownership for people of all backgrounds.
