AUBURN, Mass. – Founded in November of 1988, AKUITY Technologies celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2018. For the past three decades, the company has served the technology needs of businesses large and small throughout Southern New England.
“The one thing that’s remained consistent since we started is change,” said Founder and President Steve Cariglio.
The company, called PC-PLUS at its inception, began as a computer assembly service. Its offerings expanded into training, networking, data center design, storage solutions, and more. As technology became more essential in the workplace, PC-PLUS recognized that it needed to adapt in order to meet the needs of its clients. Organizations throughout the area required a more comprehensive set of technology support service skills.
In 2012, PC-PLUS rebranded to AKUITY Technologies and launched a full suite of managed services for businesses to outsource some or all of their technology management needs. This developing practice was recently recognized by MSP 501 as the 116th best Managed IT Service Provider worldwide.
