Over a dozen local businesses have participated in the Auburn Chamber of Commerce scarecrow contest going on now at Goddard Park at the corner of Rt. 12 and Auburn St. The displays are part of an effort by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce to bring some excitement to what looks to be a muted Halloween this year.
Scarecrows will be set up through November 5. The public is encouraged to stop by and stroll through the displays. Parking is available behind the Auburn Fire Rescue Department headquarters or at the library.
